Method :
- Heat a little ghee in a heavy bottomed pan and roast the rawa till a fine aroma emanates.
- Remove from the pan from heat and keep aside.
- Add a little ghee, add gramflour and roast till brown.
- Remove and keep aside.
- Lastly add more ghee and fry the grated coconut and finely chopped cashewnuts.
- Saute for five minutes.
- Mix all the fried ingredients.
- Put half cup water and two cups sugar in another heavy bottomed pan and bring to a boil to obtain sugar syrup of one string consistency.
- Add the roasted rawa, gramflour and coconut to the sugar syrup. Also add cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
- Stir well and keep aside to cool.
- Take handfuls of the mixture and roll into laddus.
