Cooking Time: 30 min

Ingredients:

Cream
3 cups
Egg Yolks
6 nos
Sugar
1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence
1 tsp
Brown Sugar
3/4 cup

Method:

  • Heat cream in a jug for 5-6 minutes on HIGH or until it reaches boling point.Stir once during cooking.
  • Beat egg yolks with sugar.Stir a little of the cream into yolks, then pour in remaining cream.
  • Cook on MEDIUM for 4-5 minutes, until mixture thickens.Make sure mixture does not boil.
  • Add vanilla, pour into pie plate and refrigerate overnight.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar and GRILL for 5 minutes to caramelise the sugar.
  • Chill well before serving with fresh fruit.
