Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients :

Coconut Milk
21/2 cups
Basmati Rice(paste)
1/2 cup
Fresh Cream
1/2 cup
Jaggery(gur)(crushed)
3/4 cup
Desiccated fresh coconut
2 tbsp

Method :

  • Clean, wash and soak rice in 1 cup of water for 1 hour.Then drain the water and grind the rice to form a paste.
  • In a microwave safe bowl, microwave coconut milk at 100% power for 6-7 mins.
  • Add rice paste and microwave covered at 80% power for 8 mins. and at 60% power for 5-6 mins.
  • Now add crushed jaggery and cream and mix with the paste.
  • Microwave covered at 40% power for 5-6 mins. till it is thick.Allow to stand for 5 mins.
  • Sprinkle desiccated coconut on it and serve.
