Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients for Tarts :

Flour 1 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Castor Sugar(powder sugar) 1/2 tbsp
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Salt a pinch
Ice Cold Water 3-4 tbsp
Glaced Cherries To Garnish

For Lemon Filling :

Flour 2 tbsp
Corn Starch 2 tbsp
Sugar 1 cup
Butter 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice 1/2 cup
Edible Yellow Color 2-3 drops
Cold Water 4 tbsp

Method :

  • Preheat the oven at 2300 C.Sieve flour, baking powder and salt together.
  • Add sugar, butter and ice cold water.Knead a hard dough.Refrigerate for 20 mins.
  • Roll out the dough almost 1/4 " thick.Cut into small tarts with biscuit cutter.
  • Press into small tart shells.Prick them with fork all over.
  • Bake at 2300 C for 10-15 mins. at lower rack at convection mode.
  • Once the shells are ready, set aside to cool them.
  • Mix all the ingredients for filling in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 100% power for 4-5 mins. or till thick.
  • Cool it.Fill this mixture in tart shells and garnish with cold sweet cream and fresh fruits.
