Upside Down Cake

Cooking Time : 1 hour

Ingredients :

Castor Sugar 50 gms
Cherry 60 gms
Flour(maida) 195 gms
Corn Flour 5 gms
Baking Powder 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Pineapple Slices 1 tin
Cinnamon Powder(dalchini powder) 1/2 tsp
Cream 112 gms
Sugar 140 gms
Eggs 2 nos
Milk 3 tsp

Method :

  • Melt sugar in a pan until golden brown.Then spread it onto a baking sheet.
  • Place pineapple slices and a cherry in a middle.
  • Place walnuts where there is empty place between pineapples.
  • Sieve baking powder, flour, cinnamon powder twice.
  • Beat sugar and cream until it becomes light and fluffy.
  • Beat egg and vanilla essence and add it to the sugar and cream beaten mixture.
  • Mix all the mixture in milk.
  • Put the mixture onto baking sheet above pineapple slices.
  • Preheat oven to 3200 C.Bake it for 40 minutes.
  • Allow it to cool for 7-8 mins then remove it in upside down manner so that pineapple slices will be on upper side.
