Ingredients :

Chicken 500 gm
Onions 4
Tomatoes 6
Garlic 8 cloves
Ginger 2" Piece
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tbsp
Lemon Juice 2 Tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chilli powder 1 Tsp

Ghee

2 Tbsp
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Dhania Powder 2 Tsp
Garam Masala 1 tsp
Green Cardamom 3
Dalchini (Cinamon) 1
Curd 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
Whole black peper 5-6
Green chillies 3 chopped

Method:

  • marinade 500 gms of chicken with chilly powder, salt, lemon juice and ginger garlic paste and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. cook till it starts crackling. Then add green chillies.
  • Blend onion, ginger and garlic together and add to the pan. cook stirring continously till brown in colour.
  • Now add tomato puree and then add garam masala, coriander powder, salt and chilli powder.Mix it well.Cook till oil seperates
  • Add curd and after minutes add the chicken pieces.
  • Add little bit of water so that it does not stick to the pan.
  • Cook covered for 30 minutes.
  • Add water to make gravy with desired consistency. Cook till done.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves
