Chicken Sweet Corn Soup

Cooking Time : 30 Minutes

Ingredients:

Chopped Chicken 1/2 Cup
Sweet Corn 1 Can
Cornflour 1 Tbsp
Butter 1 Tsp
Toned Milk 1/2 Cup
Soya Sauce 1 Tbsp
Water 3 Cups
Garam Masala 1/4 Tsp
Salt & Pepper To Taste
Cream 1 Tsp

Method:

  • Place butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 100% power for 30secs.
  • Add chicken pieces, 3 cups of water, salt, garam masala and microwave at 80% power for 3--4 mins. Allow to stand for 5 mins.
  • Separate the chicken pieces from the stock.
  • Add milk, sweet corn and cornflour (mixed in 1/2 cup of cold water) to the stock.Microwave for 5-6mins.at 100%power or till the corn is tender.
  • Add the microwaved chicken pieces, and soya sauce to the bowl and microwave for 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish with lightly beaten cream and spring onion.
  • Serve Hot.
