Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Plantain(sliced)(raw banana)
1 raw
Radish(sliced) 2 nos
Potato(sliced)
1 nos
Brinjal(sliced)
1 nos
Bitter Gourd(sliced)(karela)
1 nos
Mustard Seeds
11/2 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds(methi dana)
11/2 tsp
Poppy Seeds(khus khus)
2 tbsp
Salt and Red Chilli Powder
to taste
Oil
1 tbsp

Method:

  • Soak 1 tbsp each of mustard, poppy, and fenugreek seeds in 1/2 cup of water for 10-15 minutes. Blend to make a paste.
  • In a microwave safe bowl microwave oil at 100% power for 30 secs.
  • Add 1/2tbsp each of mustard, poppy and fenugreek seeds and microwave at 100% power for 2 minutes.
  • Add sliced vegetables and 1/2 cup of water. Microwave covered for 7-8 mins. at 100% power.
  • Add the prepared poppy, mustard and fenugreek paste, salt and pepper.Stir it.
  • Microwave covered for 3-4 mins. at 100% power. Allow to stand for 5 mins.
  • Serve with hot rice.
