Chilli Paneer

Cooking Time : 20 minutes plus frying time

Ingredients:

Garlic                                    
Green Chillies                         
Onions                                 
Capsicum                               
Paneer                                 
Cornflour                               
Maida/Refined Flour                 
Salt                                       
Black Pepper                           
Soya Sauce                             
Chilli Sauce                                                         
Vinegar                                   
Tomato Sauce                         
Cornflour Paste                         
Oil

 

7-8cloves chopped
4-5 Sliced into two
2 Small Cut the onions into 4 equal parts and separate the layers
1 Big Cut into big square pieces
250gms
1 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
To Taste
1/2Tsp
1 tsp
2 Tbsp                          
1 Tsp
1 Tsp
Mix 50ml Water with 1tbsp of cornflour
For deeo Frying

 

Method :

  • Cut paneer into small cubes.
  • Mix Maida, Cornflour, salt and 1/4 black pepper with water to make a thick paste. Paste should be such that it should coat the paneer well.
  • Heat oil in a karahi and add paneer cubes coated with cornflour and maida into it for deep frying when the oil is smoking hot.
  • When the paneer is golden brown in colour remove it from oil and keep it on paper tissues to drain excess oil.
  • In another pan. Heat 1 Tbsp oil and add garlic and green chillies. Cook for a minute.
  • Add Onion and fry till done or slightly pink in colour.
  • Then add capsicum and cook for 2 Minutes.
  • Add all the three sauces and Salt. Mix well.
  • Add two cups of water and bring it to boil.
  • Then add Cornflour paste and mix.
  • let the sauce boil to attain the desired consistency.
  • Then Add paneer pieces and mix well.
  • Let the sauce coat the paneer well and remove from fire.
  • Serve hot
