Ingredients :

| Tomatoes |
3 medium finely chopped |
| Black peper Powder |
1/4 Tsp |
| Ginger |
2 inch grated |
| Haldi |
1/2 Tsp |
| Sugar |
1/4 Tsp |
| Jeera |
1 Tsp |
| Red chilli powder |
1/2 Tsp |
| Salt |
To Taste |
| Coriander Powder |
1 Tsp |
| Garam Masala |
1/2 Tsp |
| Oil |
2 Tbsp and for frying |
| Water |
2 cups |
Method :
- Wash, peel and cut potatoes into small cubes and fry in hot oil and keep aside.
- In another pan heat 2 Tbsp oil and add ginger, cumin powder, red chilli powder, haldi, salt and sugar and mix well.
- Immediately add chopped tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add water and bring to boil.
- Add potatoes and cover and cook on slow fire till done.
- Sprinkle garam masala on top.
- Serve Hot with pooris.
