Cooking Time : 30 Minutes

Ingredients :

Potatoes 6 medium sized
Tomatoes 3 medium finely chopped
Black peper Powder 1/4 Tsp
Ginger 2 inch grated
Haldi 1/2 Tsp
Sugar 1/4 Tsp
Jeera 1 Tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2 Tsp
Salt To Taste
Coriander Powder 1 Tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 Tsp
Oil 2 Tbsp and for frying
Water 2 cups

Method :

  • Wash, peel and cut potatoes into small cubes and fry in hot oil and keep aside.
  • In another pan heat 2 Tbsp oil and add ginger, cumin powder, red chilli powder, haldi, salt and sugar and mix well.
  • Immediately add chopped tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Add water and bring to boil.
  • Add potatoes and cover and cook on slow fire till done.
  • Sprinkle garam masala on top.
  • Serve Hot with pooris.
