Ingredients :

Matar
1 Cup
Paneer
250 gms
Jeera
1 Tsp
Oil
2 Tbsp
Garlic
8 Flakes
Ginger
1/2" Piece
Onion
2 medium size
Tomatoes
3 medium sized
Green Coriander
2 Tbsp
Dhania Powder
1 1/2 Tsp
Lal Mirch Powder
1/2 Tsp
Salt
To taste
Garam Masala
1/2 Tsp
Haldi
1/4 Tsp
Amchhor
1/4 Tsp
Cream/malai
3 Tbsp

Method :

  • Clean and wash ginger, garlic and onion and chop together in a blender.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add jeera. cook till it starts crackling.
  • Now add chopped ginger, garlic and onions and cook till it turns slightly brown in colour.
  • Now add pureed tomatoes and mix well.
  • Add all the masala to it and mix well. cook till oil separates.
  • Now add cream/ malai to it and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Now add matar and cut paneer to it and mix well.
  • Add enough water to it so that matar and paneer are covered.
  • Pressure cook it on high flame. After one whistle keep on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from fire. Let the pressure drop by itself.
  • Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot.
