Corn-Chilli Rice

Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Corns Kernels 1 Cup
Rice 2 Cup
Ghee 2 Tbsp
Black Cardamom  1
Cumin Seeds 1 Tsp
Onions 3 Sliced
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 Tsp
Capsicum 2 Sliced
Salt To taste
Green Chillies 2-3 Chopped

Method:

  • Boil the corns till they are soft.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds and cardamom.
  • After a minute add onions and ginger - garlic paste and cook stirring occasionally.
  • Add capsicum, salt, green chillies and corn kernels and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add 4 cups water along with rice and cook till done.
  • Garnish with capsicum and coriander leaves.
  • Serve Hot
