Cooking Time : 45 Minutes

Ingredients :

Bhindi ( Lady Finger )

250 Gms
Oil 3 Tbsp
Salt 1 Tsp
Red chilli Powder 1/2 Tsp
Dhania Powder 1 Tsp
Garam Masala 1/2 Tsp
Amchoor 1 Tsp
Garlic Paste 2 Tsp
Ginger Paste 1 Tsp
Besan 2 Tbsp
Saunf 1/2 Tsp

Method :

  • Wash, drain and cut lady's finger from top and bottom.
  • Make a vertical slit in each piece.
  • Mix all ingredients of  the powdered masala together and sprinkle this masala over the bhindi.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and rub well with fingers so that it coats the each piece of bhindi.
  • Sprinkle 1 Tbsp besan mix well with a spoon so as to coat the bhindi.
  • Sprinkle one more table spoon of bhindi and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil on a tawa and spread one layer of bhindi on it. 
  • Cook in the center for 3-4 minutes on low flame stirring occasionally till golden brown.
  • Cook till it is crisp and completely done.
  • Crush saunf and add to the bhindi.
  • Cook for a few seconds and serve hot.
