Ingredients :

Cottage Cheese(paneer)
200 gms
Poppy seeds(soaked in water and grinded) 2 tsp
Tomatoes(chopped)
1 nos
Turmeric Powder
1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp
Dhania Powder
1 tsp
Salt
to taste
Potatoes 4 nos
Onion(finely chopped)
2 nos
Bay Leaves(tej patta)
2 nos
Green Coriander
1 cup
Nutmeg
2-3
Cinnamon(daalchini)
2-3

Method :

  • Mash Paneer.Boil Potatoes and peel it.Add salt to mashed potatoes and add dhania powder to it.
  • Grind nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger together.
  • Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan.
  • Add small portions of paneer mixture inside potatoes mixture and make round balls from it.
  • Fry potato balls .
  • Add nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger paste in a separate pan.Add chopped onions to it.Put rest of the spices from the ingredients and add poppy seeds paste to it.
  • When it starts leaving oi, then add tomatoes (chopped) to it.
  • After 4-5 mins. add 1-2 cups of water to it and add salt.
  • After 5 mins. add the fried balls in it and cook for another 5 mins.
  • Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
