Makai Ki Khasta Kachori

Cooking Time : 45 minutes

Ingredients :

Flour(maida) 1/2 kg
Ghee 125 gms
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Semolina(suji) 100 gms
Corn(boiled) 250 gms
Refined Oil  
Fennel Seeds(saunf)(slighly crushed) 1 tsp
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp

Method :

  • Sieve semolina (suji) and flour together.Add ghee to it and mix so that no lumps are found.
  • Add salt and baking powder and make a soft dough by adding hot water to it.
  • Crushly corn slightly.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
  • Season it with asafoetida(hing), cumin seeds.Then add slightly crushed corn, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and saute it.
  • Now make small rolls out of dough.Fill corn mixture in the middle and close from all sides.Press it from both the hands.
  • Heat ghee in a pan and fry it till golden brown.
  • Serve hot or cold.
