Cooking Time : 45 minutes

Ingredients :

Flour(maida) 250 gms
Gram Flour(besan) 50 gms
Black Pepper Powder 1/4 tsp
Milk(hot) 1 cup
Cashewnuts 125 gms
Carom Seeds(ajwain) 1 tsp
Ghee 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tsp

Method :

  • Bake cashewnuts in oven without ghee and grind it.
  • Add cashewnut powder, gram flour and mix it properly.Then add ajwain, black pepper powder and mix it well.
  • Add hot milk to it and make soft dough.Keep it covered with a wet cloth.
  • Make even sized balls and roll it in the form of mathri.
  • Make some marks with the help of fork.
  • Heat oil in a pan and deep fry it on a low flame.
  • Serve with tea/coffee.
