Kaju Khoya Paneer

Cooking Time : 45 minutes

Ingredients :

Cashewnut 150 gms
Thickened Ricotta Cheese(khoya, mawa) 1/2 kg
Tomato 150 gms
Green Coriander(chopped) 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Cottage Cheese(paneer) 300 gms
Onions 150 gms
Garlic 12 nos
Ginger 30 gms
Ghee 100 gms

Method :

  • Boil cashewnuts in water.Sieve water from cashewnuts and place it in a clean dish.
  • Cut cottage cheese (paneer) into cubes and fry it in ghee.
  • Then add garlic-ginger paste, chopped onions, chopped tomatoes and saute it till light pink.
  • Add coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder.
  • When mixture starts separating from ghee, then add khoya in it and saute it until turns red.
  • Then add cashewnuts, cottage cheese (paneer), and water and cook it for sometime.
  • Serve hot with roti/naan.
