Bowtis and Broccoli

Ingredients : 

 Farfalle pasta450 gms  
 Broccoli florets 4 cups
 Olive oil 1/4 cup
 Cloves garlic sliced  4
 Grated parmesan cheese 1 cup
 Salt To taste
 Ground black pepper To taste

  seasoning can use oregano, thyme, basil and rosemary. For garnishing can use corn, red/ yellow/ green capsicum, asparagus and mushrooms.(Optional) 

Method:

  • Bring a large pot of slightly salted water to boil. Add farfalle pasta and cook for 8-10 mins till it is just crunchy to bite.
  • Steam broccoli florets, baby corn, red/yellow/ green capsicum, asparagus and mushrooms in a steamer basket for 5 mins or till just tender.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, stri in garlic and saute till lightly colored.
  • In a bowl toss together pasta reserved with pasta water, broccoli, garlic, remaining oil and cheese. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary (optional).
  • Serve with a generous sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese.
