Ingredients :

Package uncooked farfalle pasta 500 Gms
Olive oil or any other cooking oil  1/4-cup
Cloves chopped garlic                                                                     5
Crushed red pepper flakes/ dry red chillies 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice  3 tablespoons
Pine nuts(optional) 1/2 cup
Pitted black olives 5
Chopped sun-dried tomatoes 1/2 cup
Crumbled mozarella cheese 1 cup
Salt and pepper  to taste

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Method:

  • Bring 1 ltr of water to a rapid boil (2 teaspoons of salt can be added, optional). Add farfalle. Add a tbsp of oil and return water to rapid boil and cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for about 10 to 12 minutes. Drain Rinse in cold water.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat, and cook the garlic until lightly browned.
  • Mix in red pepper and lemon juice. Stir in the pine nuts, Olives, and sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Toss in the cooked pasta and mozarella cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper Serve.
