Cheese Tricorns

Cooking Time: 30 min

Ingredients:

Butter 3 tbsp
Flour 3 tbsp
Milk 1 cup
Gruyere Cheese, grated 1 cup
Cheddar Chees, grated 1 cup
Filo Pastry 1 packet
Butter (melted) 250g

Method:

  • Melt butter for 30 seconds on HiGH.
  • Add Flour.Cook a further minute on HIGH.
  • Gradually add milk and cook 3-5 minutes on HIGH until sauce boils.
  • Add cheeses.
  • Preheat oven to 220o C.
  • Brush 1 sheet of pastry with butter.Top with another sheet and repeat the process.Cut lengthways into 4 even strips.
  • Put a spoonful of filling on one end of pastry.Fold pastry over filling to form a triangle.Continue folding.Repeat with remaining pastry.
  • Place triangleson a pizza tray and bake for 12 minutes on CONVECTION 220o C.
