For Tempering:

Method:
- Beat curd, water and gram flour into a smooth batter(without any lumps).
- Put this mixture in microwave safe bowl and microwave at 80% power for 4-5 mins.Stir in between.
- Mix salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida, chilli-ginger paste and microwave at 80% power for 4-5 mins. or till it thickens.Stir in between.
- When this mixture thickens spreadit as athin film on a thick polythene sheet with the help of a flat bottom bowl.Allow it to cool and cut out 1" X 6" broad strips.Roll the strips and arrange on the serving dish.
