Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Curd 1 cup
Water 3/4 cup
Gram Flour(besan) 1/2 cup
Turmeric Powder 3/4 tsp
Asafoetida(hing) a pinch
Chilli-Ginger Paste 1 tsp
Salt to taste
For Tempering:
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard Seeds 1 tsp
Green Chillies(chopped) 2 nos
Curry Leaves 6-8 nos
For Garnishing:
Coriander Leaves(chopped)
Grated coconut(fresh)

Method:

  • Beat curd, water and gram flour into a smooth batter(without any lumps).
  • Put this mixture in microwave safe bowl and microwave at 80% power for 4-5 mins.Stir in between.
  • Mix salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida, chilli-ginger paste and microwave at 80% power for 4-5 mins. or till it thickens.Stir in between.
  • When this mixture thickens spreadit as athin film on a thick polythene sheet with the help of a flat bottom bowl.Allow it to cool and cut out 1" X 6" broad strips.Roll the strips and arrange on the serving dish.
