Method : 40 minutes plus waiting time

Ingredients :

Semolina (Suji)
50 gm
Gram Flour ( Besan)
100 gm
Curd
1 cup
Mustard Seeds
2 tsp
Curry leaves
3-4
Baking Powder
1 tsp
Salt
To taste
Haldi
1/2 Tsp
Green Chilli
4-5

Method :

  • Mix suji, besan and curd and beat well so that there are no lumps.
  • Add salt and haldi to it.
  • Keep this mixture aside for 3-4 hours.
  • Grease a dish and pour the mixture in it.
  • Now steam the mixture in a cooker by placing water and cooker stand in a pressure cooker, place the dish on it and cover it with a lid.
  • Now place the pressure cooker cover and steam without whistle. Check with a knife whether done or not.
  • Heat ghee in a frying pan and add mustard seeds. let it crackle.
  • Add curry leaves and green chilli ad remove from fire.
  • Cut the dhokla into pieces and spread the curry leaves mix on it.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
