Methi Parantha

Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients :

Wheat Flour1 kg
Dry Mango Powder(Aamchoor) 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds(jeera) 2 tsp
Ghee 150 gms
Green Methi Leaves1 kg
Dry Pomegranate Seeds(anaardana) 2 tsp
Coriander Powder(dhania powder) 2 tsp
SaltĀ  to taste

Method :

  • Mix salt in wheat flour and make dough.
  • Finely chop green methi leaves and wash them in water.
  • Heat 100 gms ghee in a pan/kadhai.Put cumin seeds, finely chopped methi leaves and all the spices mentioned in the ingredients.
  • Saute it for 2-3 mins.Allow it to cool .
  • Roll dough into small rot.put some ghee on it and place some portion of mixture on it and roll out into parantha.
  • Place the parantha onto hot tawa and roast it with ghee.
  • Serve hot with butter/curd.
