Cooking time : 45 minutes

Ingredients :

Basmati Rice500 gms
Edible Food Colour(red and yellow) a pinch
Potatoes 2 large nos
Salt to taste
Green Peas 250 gms
Dry Fruits(raisins, cashewnus, almonds, walnuts) 50 gms
Ghee 100 gms
Cumin Seeds 1 tsp
Green Chilles(chopped) to garnish
Green Coriander(chopped) to garnish

Method :

  • Heat ghee in a pan.Put cumin seeds.Add rice and salt to it and boil it.
  • Keep 1/2 cup boiled rice aside.Put all the dry fruits and edible food colour and mix it well.
  • Cut potatoes in large pieces and fry it in a pan.
  • Boil green peas.Put the aside kept rice to rest of the cooked rice and add fried dry fruits to it.
  • Garnish it with fried large potatoes, chopped green chillies and chopped green coriander.
  • Serve hot.
