Cooking Time : 1 1/2 hour

Ingredients :

Basmati Rice 500 gms
Cauliflower 600 gms
Potatoes 250 gms
Green Peas 300 gms
Ginger 5 gms
Ghee 150 gms
Onions(chopped) 100 gms
Green Chillies 20 nos
Garlic 1 nos
Cloves 4 nos
Green Cardamoms(elaichi) 4 nos
Bay Leaves(tej patta) 4 nos
Salt to taste

Method :

  • Soak rice in water for 1/2 an hour.
  • Cut potatoes and cauliflower into pieces.Grind green chillies, green coriander, ginger and garlic into paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan.Add cardamom, cloves, bay leaves to it and add chopped onions to it.
  • Now add the paste to it and saute it for 3-4 mins.
  • Add rice, all the vegetables, salt and 1 litre water to it and stir well.
  • Heat on a low flame until it gets completely cooked.
  • Serve hot with curd, dal.
