Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Ingredients :

Rice
2 cups
Coconut Milk
1 cup
Tomato Puree
2 cup
Red Chilli Powder
2 tsp
Salt
to taste
Green Peas(chopped)
1/2 cup
Carrot(chopped)
1/2 cup
Onions(chopped)
2 cup
Black Pepper Powder
1 tsp
Cloves(laung)
8 nos
Bay Leaves(tejpatta)
4 nos
Edible Food Colour
a pinch

Method :

  • Soak rice in water for 1/2 an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions to it.Saute it till light pink then add rice, carrots, green peas and coconut milk and boil it.
  • Cook on a low flame until water evaporates.
  • Remove it from the flame and add edible food colour.Also add coconut pieces.
  • Spanish rice is ready to serve.
