Ingredients :

Rice
250 gms
Spinach(palak)
100 gms
Ginger
20 gms
Garlic
6-7 nos
Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp
Salt
to taste
Saffron(kesar)
5-6 strings
Potato
1 nos
Corn Flour
1 tbsp
Cauliflower
50 gms
Onions
2 nos
Ghee
250 gms
Turmeric Powder(haldi)
1/2 tsp
Cottage Cheese(paneer)
150 gms
Garam Masala Powder
1/2 tsp
Tomatoes
2 nos

Method :

  • Add salt to rice and soak in water for 1/2 hr.
  • Mash paneer and add salt and corn flour to it.
  • Make small balls of paneer mixture and fry it.
  • Cook spinach by adding salt to it until water evaporates.
  • Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan and add chopped onions, garam masala powder and saute it.
  • Then add chopped tomatoes, cauliflower, potatoes and cook it for another 3-4 mins.
  • Add rice and 600 ml water, fried paneer balls.
  • Heat until rice is cooked properly.Add saffron and spinach to it and cook for further 2-3 minutes.
  • Cook it on a low flame.
  • Garnish it with 50 gms mashed paneer.
  • Serve hot.
