Chicken Sweet Corn Soup

Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

Chicken(chopped) 1/2 cup
Sweet Corn 1 can
Water 3 cups
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Butter 1 tsp
Toned Milk 1/2 cup
Soya Sauce 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder 1/4 tsp
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Cream 1 tsp

Method:

  • Place butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 100% power for 30 seconds.
  • Add chicken pieces, 3 cups of water, salt, garam masala and microwave at 80% power for 3-4 minutes.Allow to stand for 5 minutes.
  • Separate the chicken pieces from the stock.
  • Add milk, sweet corn and cornflour(mixed in 1/2 cup cold water) to the stock.Microwave for 5-6 minutes at 100% power or till the corn is tender.
  • Add the microwaved chicken pieces, soya sauce.Microwave for 1 minute at100% power.Garnish with spring onions, lightly beaten cream and serve hot.
