Method :
- Mix all the filling ingredients together and set aside.
- Soak the lentils and white peas for eight hours .
- Pressure cook till done.
- Drain thouroughly.
- Cool and blend to a smooth paste ensuring there is no excess water.
- Add all the other ingredients and form a dough like mixture.
- Lightly grease hands and take a little dough and flatten it to form a disc.
- Place a little filling in the center, cover it completely with dough and deep fry in hot oil till crisp and golden.
- Serve hot.
