Method :
- Clean wash and soak rice for one hour.
- Heat oil in heavy bottomed pan and add rai and chane ki dal.
- Remove from fire and add curry leaves.
- Return to fire on low flame and cook till dal turns golden brown.
- Measure 2 cups water carefully and add to dal. Add salt and haldi.
- Add lemon Juice and boil water.
- Strain the rice and add to the water as soon as it boils.
- Add green chillies.
- Give one whistle in pressure cooker and then keep onlow flame for 1 minute.
- Remove from fire and let the pressure drop.
- Serve Hot with raita or sambhar.
